Ever since I was a little girl, I liked to have things on my head. Whether it be a hat, a scarf or a very large, obnoxious bow- you could sign me up. My newest obsession happens to be the latter and I just can't seem to stop wearing them. I recently wondered about how my clients would feel with me showing up to meetings wearing a giant black bow on the side, or the top, of my head, paired back to a properly tailored and incredibly modern Armani suit. Would they think I looked like a kid? Would they take me seriously? Or, rather, would they think that I was totally awesome and wished that they had a giant black bow on their head too? We may never know the answer to this, but I think it's worth testing out.
As I have been spending a great deal of time on airplanes lately, (not that I normally don't, but my level of airtime seems to be at an all time high recently) I have been listening to Sia's Chandelier on repeat. I think she's one of the most talented artists out there. She's composes many of the songs that are sung by more mainstream pop-artists and she can play, as it seems, any instrument. Her music always inspires me, as it always sounds a little bit weird; something that I can relate to quite well.
Should you find me in your local airport with a large black bow on my head, just know that I will probably be jamming out to this song. Feel free to say hello. Depending on the day, I'm usually pretty nice.
"I'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn't exist, like it doesn't exist.
I'm gonna fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dry.
I'm gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier" -Sia, Chandelier
