48-Hours in Hong Kong is all I had.
I figured since I was already over in Asia for work that I would spend the weekend jetting off somewhere chic. I have always been known to be someone that moves smoothly in and out of countries with ease, so choosing a place after Singapore seemed like a natural extension to my travel. My only requirement was that the travel time wasn’t going to add anymore flying time to my return home (Singapore is a brutal 25+ hours from New York with no direct flights and I really didn’t want to do that flight stretch again). That left Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, The Philippines, and Hong Kong as options for a weekend jaunt. I couldn’t get my act together in time to really plan a true holiday since this trip alone was a last minute book, so I decided on stopping in Hong Kong for a quick 48-hours. What started as a personal weekend though for exploring and shopping and laughs with friends, ended up being a weekend filled with investor meetings, spontaneous events and hobnobbing.
Here are a few quick snaps from my 48-Hours in HK. Enjoy!
