I watched the movie, I Am Love for the first time the other evening and I must admit, I feel deeply in love with the 1930s home in Milan that was featured. Villa Necchi Campiglio was this spectacular, quaint home that was featured in the film and it's absolutely stunning. There are all these rad Mid-Century Modern details in the home that extends far beyond what you normally see- from the floor-to-ceiling marble bathrooms, to square zig-zag-esq wooden staircases, to the brass stain-glass windowed front door, to the higher than high ceilings; it was oozing inspiration and I couldn't peel my eyes away for one second. I so aspire to own a property with as much panache; I feel it is my destiny.

I adore homes that have been transformed into baby museums. There are some very special ones throughout Paris that hold the same magical hold on me as this one has and one in particular, the Musee Nissim de Camondo is positively one of my favorite places in all of Paris. I visited during May when all the museums in Paris stayed open late and it completely moved me. You can see photos here, here,here, here and here on my Instagram.

Art is one of my biggest passions and has been for as long as I can remember. I grew up creating things; whether it be paintings, sculptures, carpentry, clothing or taking photos. With that being said, these photos were taken when I went to a museum that is close to my parents home, while visiting them in their lovely forest. The North Carolina Museum of Art features the largest selection of Rodin sculptures in all of the nation. In 2009, the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Foundation donated thirty Rodin sculptures to the museum and now Raleigh gets to house some of Rodin's most innovative and modern pieces. He's positively one of my favorite artists of all time. Rodin's pieces are whimsical and daring and created to push the boundaries of life and all that it offers. One of my girlfriends from Paris said a few things to me the other day that stuck with me. She said, "You are joy. You are happiness. You are peace. You are fashion. You are love". What powerful words to receive from this incredible woman and always remember. I am love.
