Fendi was founded in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi and has been designed by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld since 1965. I'm not quite sure of the phrase that would represent Sir Lagerfeld with as much credit as he deserves, except that he is someone incubated with genius. Lagerfeld has an unerring edge that is faultless, timeless and ever-so on point that veers Fendi towards the name that it was in 1925, and a name that holds the same quality and detail even today. I've been hobnobbing lately with a circle of folks that not only exude style, but unpretentious accomplishment. It's entirely inspiring. They help bring my eclectic world to life and fuel my love for all things beautiful, including wearing Fendi on a daily basis, and snapping quick photos apres lunch. Fendi, a brand known for their furs, has remained top tier for decades in the fur department and this little crop jacket was discovered at a vintage shop in passing, and has since infiltrated my fall wardrobe for years.
I love these wide-leg pants. I got them last summer, because I wanted a pair of flare silk pants to travel in, that we're both comfortable and chic, but I didn't realize how satisfied I would be with wearing them to work. They create such a cool movement every time you walk that it inspires me to extend each step, so it looks as if I am shooting an editorial (as noted in the two photos above). Speaking of movement, the Australian band Movement has entirely taken over my Spotify the past few weeks.
