Greetings from Maui.
Some of my friends and I are staying in a beach-front Villa, while others are at the Lumeria Resort, right down the road. Generally speaking, I’m not one to love staying at a resort, especially not one that I am confined to. I find so much value in the exploration phase that I would hate to pigeonhole myself from seeing the local cultures beauty and you generally only do that when you live and stay as a local would. There are exceptions to every rule and my exceptions generally come in the form of an Aman Resort, the luxury hotel empire that redefines the luxury experience, so much so, that you wonder how it is real life. But there we were- morning sunrises right on the beach at our yoga resort, soaking in the fresh rain that had just hit the ground. Then at night, we would breathe in the tea tree scents and leave the windows open while we rested our eyes.
One early morning, I threw on a few pieces that I didn’t plan on pairing back together, but just seemed to coexist well with one another. This Missoni high-neck sleeveless top is just a great reminder to me of my love for Missoni in the summertime. I paired it back to some funky Clover Canyon culottes that I picked up in New York a few weeks ago. I thought once they were formulated together, they created such interesting textures that it worked. I paired it all back to my Forever 21 Fedora for some flavor. More updates soon from Maui.
