Always someone that deems sophistication at any given moment, I was the girl that preferred to wear backless long dresses to revealing short ones and high waisted trousers with a silk blouse to jeans and a crop top. In my opinion, there is something very telling about a woman that chooses to cover up and leave things to the imagination versus those that choose to give it all away up front (but, then again, talk to me when I’m wearing a blazer as a dress at The Blond dancing on a table and you’ll say I’m a total hypocrite)...

Bethany is my best friend. We share secrets, finish each other's sentences, and occasionally do something naughty- like split a McChicken and fries at McDonalds. On this particular day, we attended the baby shower of our friend Emma and spent the rest of the day doing what we do best- running around the West Village taking photos, sitting at a cafe working for a number of hours glued to our screens, and then getting massages together at our favorite local Chinese massage parlor on 8th street (found here, in my New York City Guide)...

I seem to specialize in three things, namely, being a traveler, being a degenerate gambler on my spare time with Bitcoin, and ruthlessly racking up charges on my American Express platinum card. Currently, I start my day by waking up to a hot glass of lemon water, putting on my mumu, and going straight to my Coinbase on my phone to see the latest news. When it’s a good day, I get very excited. I even feel inspired to work out. When it’s a bad day, I want to slit my wrists, and hide under the covers. The volatility is killing me...

I have recently completed an extensive analysis on girlfriend sleepovers and more specifically an analysis on girl-on-girl pillow fights. After months of case studies, surveys, interviews, sleepovers, and focus groups- a few conclusions have become obvious...

We were told that La Paz was where we needed to go for the best snorkeling in Baja. There is no doubt in my mind that this was accurate information (Thanks Meghan!). About an hour and a half by car from San Cristóbal, you’ll arrive at a small beach called Playa Balandra. It has some of the clearest water that I have ever seen and it was a little slice of heaven. We stayed there for a few hours and took these photos, went snorkeling with the colorful fish, and decided to set up camp a little ways down at Playa del Tecolote, and find ourselves a beach club to rage...

When Sarah and arrived in Monte Carlo, we quickly made mental note that we wanted to visit the Jardin Japonais de Monaco. When we arrived, we noticed that while the garden was designed to be a specific way, it couldn’t be more imperfect. The structures were not symmetrical, the gardens were off center, and there were lines and squares and cubes mixed with circles, ovals, and asymmetrical ponds...

Generally speaking, I relax by watching films, surfing the net for art, furniture, or home decor, reading design books, drinking tea, washing my face with my 10-step Korean beauty process, waking up without an alarm and going to a late brunch with girlfriends in the West Village, working on my City Guides, taking long baths, and traveling to foreign lands. I guess you can say that I’ve been doing a number of those things to help me get rebalanced again on this trip...

Lake Como is about an hour-and-a-half car ride from Milano centrale, which is just a hopscotch away to enter into an entirely new culture. Here are a few more photo highlights from Villa del Balbianello, one of my all time favorite villas. Naturally it's filled with tourists and has made its debut through films like James Bond and Starwars, but it still holds a special place in my heart from the first time I visited with my family in 2005. By no means do these shots do this villa any justice (actually on second thought, they are pretty spectacular thanks to my amazing photographer Sarah), but at least you can get a glimpse of the dreamy world that I got to live for a few days...

In today's world, style is not just about how we dress. It's become a way of life and how we live, where we live, which restaurants we eat at, which festivals we go to, where we go on holiday, which hotels we stay at on our trips, and how we photograph, capture, and share those moments with the world. It's all become quite an interesting way of life to me. What do you share with others and what do you keep private for yourself? Are you missing out on key milestones in your friends lives if you aren't on Facebook and Instagram? How many friends are too many friends? Where do you draw the line?...
